Nothing says Spring like peep toe shoes, and today, on the very first day of Spring, it's time to take a look at what we can treat our toes to after battering them with closed toe heavy duty boots and heaven forbid, Uggs (!) all winter long.
I have been scouring the malls (I love blogging, I can now legitimately shop as research!) and have found my favorite shoe trend for Spring 2011: bow pumps! Designers high (Valentino, Stuart Weitzman) and affordable (Jessica Simpson, Enzo, Nine West) have been showing beautiful patent leather pumps along with leather and lace peep toes embellished with pretty bows for the season. For work, I love ladylike looks and this trend oozes classic class and beauty.
Check out my favorites:
When I win the lottery, I'll buy Valentino's Couture Patent Bow Pump (top) from Neiman Marcus. The platform makes it super easy to walk in too! Until then, Enzo's take on the look (bottom) available at Town Shoes, will make me happy!
Also by Valentino at Neiman Marcus, this pump features a padded leather insole and a I-could-shop-5th-Avenue-all-day-long-in-these-shoes, heel height. Valentino is actually all over the bow look. If you'd like to drool some more over these beauties, take a looksie here.
The Red Carpet Collection at Town Shoes always has stunning show-stopping shoes like this lace peep-toe pump with the bow detail.
Always with the latest trends, Aldo interprets the look with the bow in the back. Act fast on these though, they're on sale!
This is the same shoe as seen above by Enzo but in a pretty pink colour. The shoe comes in black, dark blue, dark pink, light pink and natural. Available at Zappos.
For a special night out, Badgley Mischka has this really unique grey satin bow pump. Look at the detail in the bow! Available at Zappos.
The ultimate in ladylike chic, this slingback from David Dixon will be in your wardrobe forever! Available at Town Shoes
Perfect for work or a special occasion, our feet deserve these bow pumps after a looonng winter. Happy spring!
All she needs to know for now! ;)
